A page featuring galleries and links for cycle tours undertaken during September 2025.
I ride regularly, and I do not necessarily post a web page for each tour I do.
I do post to Facebook, Garmin Connect, Strava and occasionally to Komoot and Instagram.

Canyons of Corn in Gö – September 28 2025

The corn is higher than an elephant’s eye at this time of the year and it is remarkable how the tall crops change the landscape. Before you could see into the distance now, we ride in canyons.

First Ride of Herbst in Gö – September 24 2025

The seasons flow ever forward; we rode against an evil wind through canyons of tall crops and harvest time is here.
“That time of year thou mayst in me behold,
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang;”
William Shakespeare, Sonnet 73 (1609).
Not just about Autumn also about the passing of time.

Sunshine Roadie Style in Gö – September 20 2025

It has been months ago since I rode a road-based route, although I cheated by adding a few small sections of gravel to link up the route nicely.
I will do it again especially if the weather is warm and sunny as today and I can wear my white road shoes.

Gö Gravel Östlicher Kreis – September 13 2025

After waiting with good humour for the rain to stop we rode east into the Eichsfeld with Konstantin and for most of the time there was sunshine.
From the high ground we could see Duderstadt, the Ohm Mountains, the Rotenberg Mountains, and the Harz Mountains including the Brocken.
It was a great ride with the wonderful company of Tatiana, Konstantin, Def, Christian, and John.

Foraging for a Compote in Gö – September 7 2025

A steady ride looking for fallen pears to stew and make into a fruity desert popular since the mediaeval age. My eye was sidetracked by Rosehips and Sunflowers plus Hollyhocks.

Long Shadows in Gö – September 3 2025

The day closes ever earlier with the sunset and there is more of summer to come but it is feeling like the finale.
We spotted the Tanline crew and waved at Tim E.
